For as stressed as Verity's gifts make her, she retains the ability to laugh at them and herself. She can get short-tempered sometimes owing to the 'baby screaming in her head' effect when people lie. FOURTH-WALLING: Would like to avoid, if possible! If your character has read L:AOA or anything Marvel 616-ish then she'd be forced to believe they were speaking the truth about her being a comicbook character. PHYSICAL CONTACT: If relaxed and casual, yes. She doesn't go out of her way to hug strangers though, and might be a bit surprised. ROMANCE/SEXUAL RELATIONS: Verity has a difficult time dating because of her lie detection, but she certainly wants to have some fun since we first met her at a speed-dating event. LIES:
Well since we're talking big lies that might not turn up in brackets all the time...

Conan is lying about everything. To start with, he is lying about his name and age, and faking his personality. For the best of reasons, obviously. But in day to day conversation the majority of what he says about himself will be a lie.

Conan's real name is Shinichi Kudo. He's a seventeen-year-old detective who got into big trouble with a criminal syndicate and ended up poisoned and ten years younger than he should be. And if any of them ever figure out that Shinichi Kudo is still alive they'll kill him and anyone he has been in contact with.

So... obviously any hint of anyone seeing through his lies is going to be met with more than a little panic.

EXTRAS: Only that I would like to make sure any big secret discoveries or revelations are plotted out. Since it would have a major effect on my character in game.

re: extras, sure thing! Verity has a habit of going for the jugular, so to speak, so we ought to plan out their first interaction which will alert him to the fact she can see through his lies without revealing too much for you. c:

As well as being able to hear lies, she can also read them. I can see you've got a post up already, which we could use pretty simply! Verity would respond to it asking why he isn't using his real name or a superhero alias. Would that work for you? He could hang up on her when she gets insistent, and then know to be wary in the future.
